But a young nurse who no one saw commit a crime is served several life sentences with no possibility of release and her appeal denied. What’s wrong with these people involved? Judges. barristers, the system itself no longer works if it ever did. No one, not one person should ever be punished by mistake. The first time it happened the system should have been revised with hefty punishments given to those responsible.
All those responsible should serve the term they give out. Perhaps that would slow down all these miscarriages of justice given by those who were wrong to those who did no wrong? Juries do their best, they are not responsible for the punishment. Those who sit at the top of society may not make mistakes.
